Biography
I studied Statistics at the Ludwig-Maximilians-University in Munich, Germany. In my diploma thesis I worked on the imputation of missing values in cancer registry space-time data caused by confidentiality regulations using MCMC and simulated annealing.
Since March 2007 I have been working at the Biostatistics Unit, ISPM, at the University of Zurich as a research associate. Simultaneously, I am working on my PhD thesis. I am interested in the evaluation and criticism of probabilistic forecasts, especially of continuous longitudinal data.
Among my duties at the ISPM is also statistical consulting within the Medical Faculty and for other academic institutions, and I also teach some courses for students at the University of Zurich.
