I currently provide statistical support for the Clinical Trials Unit at the Kantonsspital St. Gallen (50%), one of the 6 clinical trials units in Switzerland.
From December 2008 to June 2011, I consulted for the Clinical Trials Center at the University Hospital of Zürich (50%). Before joining the Division of Biostatistics in December 2008, I completed my PhD in Biostatistics at the University of Pittsburgh (dissertation: "Inference on Competing Risks in Breast Cancer Data.") While in Pittsburgh, I held a research position at the National Surgical Adjuvant Breast and Bowel Project (NSABP), a large clinical trials cooperative group focusing on breast and colorectal cancers.
My primary research interests are parametric methods for survival, especially those for data where competing risks are present, and also, methods for clinical trials.
