Division of Biostatistics
The Division of Biostatistics at the Institute for Social and Preventive Medicine of the University of Zurich focuses on the development and application of statistical methods in all areas of basic, clinical and epidemiological research. Our expertise is documented by numerous publications in international statistical and medical journals.
Another focus of our Division is statistical services for the Faculty of Medicine. These services range from consultations on statistical data analysis to scientific collaborations. In addition, we seek to educate the medical community on the methodological basis of biostatistics through continuing education opportunities, as well as the Masters program in Biostatistics.
