Program
The course discusses statistical methods that are used in clinical research. The detailed agenda can be downloaded from below. Hands-on industry experience will enter the class through two invited talks by guests from Novartis. Each session will consist of a 2-hour class and a 1-hour exercise lab. Exercises will be of mixed type: theoretical questions to be solved with paper and pencil will be complemented with tasks that need programming in R.

A shorter class on some of the topics was given by Marcel Wolbers in 2007 and 2008. Some of the material used is based on Marcel's material.

Exam
Will take place on January 20, 2012, 9:00 - 11:00 in Y27H25 . Duration is two hours, no support material is allowed except a non-programmable pocket calculator.
