As a specialized Master’s program, the Master’s program in Biostatistics is a useful continuation of a (bachelor) degree in all fields that include quantitative aspects, e.g. Biology, Biomedicine, Psychology, Mathematics or a related field. Our students have a strong affinity for quantitative techniques and interest in acquiring state-of-the-art problem-solving skills for research in medicine and the life sciences.

Student cohorts are small, about 15 new students per year. The contact with teaching staff and among students is close resulting in very individualized advising situations and high success rates.
